Went out metal detecting with DP-Bob, D-Dub, and Lookn4seated this morning for a few hours. We just detected some place that we have hunted in the past in hopes of pulling up some more oldies. This was my 1st hunt using a 10x12 SEF metal detector coil.
Just looking around and visiting, but if it was up to Jim i would be spying. How have you been and did you get to hunt this weekend?
ReplyDeleteHi, my wife and I are new to metal detecting. We have a garret ace 250 and 350. We were wondering where's a good place to detect. We'll be in DesPlaines this Friday and Saturday. We live right by Oak Park. We're looking for decent sites to detect. Do you have any ideas where we could go? AndrewP
ReplyDeleteHey you will be right down the street from me, honestly any forest preserve along the Des Plaines River is good, I have found old coins all up and down the river. Good luck and happy hunting!!!
